#KeystoneKindness Giving Back, No Strings Attached After Clayton and Tamara purchased the store, in 2019, Keystone Ford has hosted a monthly giveaway with one simple purpose: to bless our community. No purchase necessary. No sales pitch. No follow up calls. We don't solicit anyone who registers. #KeystoneKindness has never been about growing our customer list. It's about growing a spirit of generosity, one month at a time. We believe that when you've been blessed, you're called to be a blessing to others. That's the heart behind everything we do here at Keystone Ford, and #KeystoneKindness is where that belief comes to life every single month.
What We've Given Away Since we started this giveaway, the prizes have ranged widely, from used cars to thousands of dollars in cash, all going directly back into the pockets and lives of the people who need it. Every month looks a little different, but the goal is always the same: put something good into someone's hands, simply because we can. For about the past two years, we've also added extra random drawings each month on top of the big winner. These smaller prizes have included gift cards, grills, televisions, and more. More winners, more often, more reasons to celebrate together.
A Community That Showed Up for Each Other One of the proudest chapters of #KeystoneKindness happened during the COVID lockdowns. While so many local businesses were shut down through no fault of their own, we purchased thousands of dollars in gift cards from those businesses, not because we needed them, but because we wanted to put real dollars back into their hands during one of the hardest seasons many of them had ever faced. We then gave those gift cards away through our drawings throughout those months, putting that support directly into the hands of our community while also spotlighting the very businesses that needed it most. What happened next is the part that still moves us. Once local businesses caught wind of what we were doing, many of them started contributing their own gift cards to the giveaway, on top of what we'd already purchased. Businesses that were struggling themselves still found a way to give. It stopped being just a Keystone Ford giveaway and became something bigger, a community that came together to take care of its own when it mattered most.
