Oftentimes from year to year, a car model will not change much. This is anything but the case for the transition from the 2022 Escape model year to the 2023 Escape. In 2022 the Escape had gone a little stale, contrary to its name, it was monotonous and another cookie cutter crossover. To make the Escape live up to its name, Ford redesigned the front end of the powerful crossover and gave it a facelift. Not only is the exterior redesigned to be more rugged and appealing, but the interior has gone through a similar redesign. Sitting in the brand new Escape is like a breath of fresh air, and a few interior updates make the driver’s cluster and dash fresh and modern. Ford did not stop at purely cosmetic changes but also made some changes to the trims of the Escape, cutting down on options and making the trim levels much more streamlined.
